December Issue Reflection

As for the December Issue, I felt that we used a variety of colors in this time around. For example, the features did a great job on mixing with the black and blue colors of the articles. This also applies to the news editors as well, where they were able to add a light blue color on the front cover, instead of having a white background. If the front cover would have a white background, it would have been very unappealing to the students to grab a copy and read. Besides that, the articles that I wrote in this issue were the Crucible, Model UN, and the Los Angeles NBA teams. Based on the issues that I wrote and published this semester, I really enjoyed the Crucible article a lot. To explain, I felt that I got to know so many people in the process of writing this article and gave me really good responses when I interviewed them. It was so much fun to watch the actors and the tech crew to rehearse. I got so much information that I felt it was too big to write an article on this specific topic, where it would not fit in the page at all. Also, I felt that I got so many good photos on this play, where it really tested my photography skills. After writing this article, it made me want to write a big web article on play productions really work.
