Dream Team Takes First in The Red Rover Championships

On Friday September 21 at 12:00 pm the 45th Red Rover Championships took place in the quad area. Finalist team The Dream Team versed the Weenie Hut Juniors ultimately ending in the victorious victory of The Dream Team 22-8.

Cross Country kicks off the season with setting Records and Challenges

The Cross Country team at Granada Hills Charter High School (GHC) had their first meet on Saturday, September 15 towards the evening at the 38th Woodbridge invitational in Silver Lakes, California. They competed with over 150 schools around the area of Southern California in this 5k race on the flat trail. Some GHC runners did not disappoint at all.

The JV Softball place first in league

The JV softball team had won nine out of ten games for the whole entire season. Even though they were not undefeated in the league, they got first place overall.Compared to last year, this is a huge improvement in winning multiple games.

Seahawks take away the 49er’s undefeated title

On November 11, the Seattle Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 27-24 at the Levi Stadium in a very intense game in which the 49ers lost their undefeated title and possibly ruined their number one ranking.

Girls Soccer won Division 1 L.A. City title for the second year in a row

On February 29 the Granada Hills Charter High School (GHC) girls varsity soccer team competed against Palisades Charter High School and won the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) city championship game for the second year in a row at Monarch Stadium at Los Angeles Valley College.
