“The Good Place” offers moral philosophy as entertainment

In NBC’s  “The Good Place” the main protagonist of the story, Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell) decides to study ethics in order to become better at making decisions after mistakenly being place into the the good place in the after life. Human ethics is constantly being presented where characters utilizes it through situations as the series progress. Audiences members slowly observes and analyzes these situations from their perspective while the series answering their questions about moral philosophy itself.

The Archie Comic Universe was amazed from fans nationally when it first came onto shelves. Reading the comic under people’s hand, people could not forget the clumsy and studenning Archie Andrews who wears a black sweatshirt that has a big red R on it in the first issue or the fierce Sabrina the teenage witch that pops out in the cover of comic, showing her white blonde short hair and her red shirt.

Cinematography is an important aspect of storytelling because it allows the audience to further understand the conflicts that the characters experience in the story without telling them directly. Therefore, the cinematographer uses light, color, art direction, and camera movement to provide a sense of symbolism and tone of the story while making it beautiful to look at, which adds to the words of the screenplay.

The Crucible: Students work tirelessly for fall play

On November 22 and 23, the Granada Hills Charter High School (GHC) Drama department performed Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible,” a retelling of false accusations during the Salem Witch Trials. The performance showed audiences just how strong GHC’s drama program really is because a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to create the advanced production seen during the show.

Paul Dini first had the idea for the character when he felt that the Joker needed a new henchman in “Batman: The Animated Series” (BTAS). He was inspired by an episode on “Days of Our Lives” where Arleen Sorkin wore a jester costume in a dream sequence.
