Daniel Guerrero

In the fall semester, the class went over writing about news, sports, and feature/profile articles. I really had a fun time writing about these articles due to requiring a collaboration with my classmates where we all wrote and edit articles together. Out of all the articles that we wrote, I enjoy feature/profile articles the most even though I struggle with it most. In fact, I was able to improve my writing skills in this class where I further apply to it writing essays over time. I do not regret applying for this class at all where I had a fun time writing articles than essays for my other classes due to able to write about whatever I want. For example, I had a fun time writing about the Archie Comic universe for my final project where it require to watch episodes from “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” on Netflix as well as in-depth research about the production of the show which I did not mind. In addition, I had a fun time designing the magazine on indesign where it allow me to explore my sense of creativity. For instance, I enjoy cutting out a Sabrina image and placing it in the middle of my article over time. In fact, indesign has to be my favorite platform to use over time due to to being so quick and easy to do compare to photoshop and microsoft excel. Furthermore, I am extremely looking forward to next semester whereas this semester was really fun.
