Singular Print Issue Reflection
I really love how we did the singular print issue because most of the stories were very appealing to the students, like the teachers going on the worst dates and Granada’s Best Dance Crew (GBDC). Speaking about teachers going on the worst dates, I like the feature page of it because it really gave readers much of a valentine’s aesthetic with the big heart, filled with dating images. Not only that, the black history month pages were appealing as well, where it is new to what we would usually format it on paper. Meaning, describing the person’s personality on the page instead of squeezing full-length articles. Besides that, I really like the Granada articles, where I enjoyed reading the GBDC and Ms. Koziatek articles because I was interested in learning about those subjects and what some students had to say. Also, I had fun writing about the student making films article because I discovered that I was not the only one who was interested in filmmaking. It was great interviewing Samantha and Adam and was interesting on how they became so invested in making their own films. Besides the filmmaking article, I enjoyed writing the sports profile article about Coach Irene, as it made me really hustle for interviews on people who I did not know.
